Training is available to members in the maintained and non-maintained childcare sector, and non-registered providers in early years and childcare settings across Wales.
- It is the responsibility of the person booking training to adhere to the Code of Conduct. Failure to do so may result in the individual not being able to attend future courses.
- Training courses may be added throughout the year. Please make sure you check the website regularly for details and updates.
- It is the responsibility of the attendee to supply an email address and be aware of the reasons for this and agree to data to be used. Please ensure that details are kept up to date, all correspondence will be sent via email.
- Information applicable to courses can be downloaded from the website. Please note that for some courses, handouts will not be available.
- The course fee secures your place. If you are unable to attend you can request a refund no later than 72 hours prior to the course start. This request must be submitted to [email protected] and include the course reference, your contact details and reason for cancellation. Cancellation requests received after this time will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the course costs. We reserve the right to cancel your place without a refund to ensure we can pay our course liabilities for any booking not cancelled 72 hours prior to the course.
- It is the responsibility of the attendee to read and fully understand the Health and Safety guidelines in the training rooms.
- It is the responsibility of the attendee to inform Early Years Wales prior to the course if additional support is required in order to successfully complete the course.
- An Early Years Wales membership number is required for member exclusive courses. If you are not a member, please visit our membership section. Failure to supply a membership number may result in your booking being cancelled.
- An Early Years Wales online account may be required to complete checkout. All members have an online account, click here and input the email address linked to your membership to set up your password if you have not already done so.

- Reserve lists will be held at the point of request if the course is full. Early Years Wales will make contact if and when spaces become available.
- All courses requiring payment must be paid for online at the point of booking.
- Records of these transactions should be kept by the individual booking on.
- Confirmation of the booking will be sent to the email address provided on your profile; this will need to be kept by you as a record. A receipt will also be issued if requested for financial records.

- For confirmed cases of Covid 19, a refund of space will only be offered upon receipt of an official notification of a positive result from the Gov.UK reporting site.
- If Early Years Wales cancel a course for any reason, refunds will be provided.

- We ask that you make yourself aware of health and safety, by being aware of facilities and emergency procedures if attending training in person.
- We ask for the cooperation of all participants to abide by our Code of Conduct to ensure that the training event is undertaken successfully within a safe and secure environment. Failure to abide by this may result in exclusion from future training courses.

- Please talk to the trainer if you feel you could benefit from essential skills support. The trainer will discuss all options of support available to you in a confidential manner.
