In early childhood, development occurs rapidly and it's all connected. This year's conference will dive into how children's cognitive development, physical movement, and relationships work together to shape their early experiences.

Our keynote speakers include: 

Alistair Bryce-Clegg MBE

Alistair is a fantastic speaker and early years consultant who has written 27 award winning books published by Bloomsbury and Sage. He is a former Head teacher of a three-form entry Infant school and Early Years Unit in Cheshire and the founder of ABC Does... Early Years Consultancy. Alistair was the Early Years Expert on Channel 4's BAFTA-winning series "Old People's Home for 4 Year Olds"

Professor Christine Pascal OBE

Professor Pascal is a leading voice on the early years. She founded, and is the honorary co-director of CREC, the Centre for Research in Early Childhood. Professor Christine works extensively with Froebelian pedagogy and is an advocate for play, social justice through early childhood experiences, and empowering the workforce through reflective practice.

Dr Sharon Colilles

Dr Colilles is a Reader in Inclusive early childhood education at Bath Spa University. She is currently involved in a range of research projects that seek to develop awareness and understanding about meaningful 'inclusive' education and practice, particularly in relation to research methodologies and early childhood education provision. 

Helen Battelley MA

Helen is an internationally renowned consultant, trainer, author and speaker in Physical activity/movement play in Early Education with an MA in Early Childhood Studies (Physical Activity and Movement). Her training style is energetic, passionate and highly motivational. Helen is respected globally for her valued contribution to raising the profile of early years physical activity and reducing sedentary behaviours.
