Early Years Wales have vacancies on the Trustee Board and is looking for Trustees with expertise within the early years sector. As an organisation, we feel it is important to have representation from all parts of Wales and we would invite expressions of interest from any member who would like to be a part of the Trustee Board irrespective of their location in Wales. Additionally, as an advocate for the sector we are interested in promoting equality and diversity through our board of Trustees.
Currently, in line with Covid-19 guidelines our Trustee Board meetings take place online. In future, we will return to host meetings in our Cardiff Office, with remote access for Trustees that would prefer to join meetings from other locations around Wales.
Our governance structure requires the Trustee Board to meet on a bi-monthly basis. In addition to early years sector expertise we are looking for skills including;
- Welsh Language
- Diversity and equality policy areas
- Research within early years and/or early education
- Funding or charitable working
- Business management and HR
