Making Sense CIC

Making Sense CIC is a not for profit company working to offer an accessible sensory way for people to engage with arts and cultural venues. Our project "Dwylo Bach" is a creative play workshop session for babies and toddlers and their grown ups. Our free sessions are based in galleries and take their inspiration from exhibitions which means there is a constant flow of new themes and materials to work with. Including Exploring clay, making dens, experimenting with light and dark, creating sound from kitchen implements, printing with mushrooms.
The possibilities are endless and we hope to encourage young families to feel confident and at home in galleries and make the most of them as a resource as their children grow.
Introduce creative, open-ended play to babies and parents and carers.
Provide a friendly and comfortable space for parents and carers to socialise.
