Nursery/Play Worker Practitioner

Exciting opportunity in Ysgol Porth Y Felin's Playschool Ysgol Feithrin Conwy!

In our recent inspection we received a 'Good' across the board and so we would like to continue our success and expand our team with knowledgable and enthusiastic members.

2 positions available for Level 3 Play workers with a level 3 CCLD qualification.

Term time only.

We'd love to get to know you so successful applicants will be invited to work straight away to help get them settled in. Wage range £13-14 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Main duties include:

• - Management and implementation of procedures in line with the play school's and CIW's regulations and policies
• - Ensure activities for children meet their individual needs and are age appropriate
• - Work in partnership with parents, carers and teachers as well as the charity's committee to support the children and the setting's needs
• - Ensuring safeguarding practices are adhered to at all times

Management responsibilities will be required for these roles and will include:

• - Administrative duties
• - ⁠Staff management, deployment and assessment
• - ⁠Planning of activities in line with curriculum
• - ⁠Continuous risk assessment and health and safety

- ⁠Working with and reporting to our Playschool manager to ensure the success of the setting

Additional desirable skills

• - First aid qualification
• - ⁠Basic food safety
• - ⁠Basic Welsh skills
• - ⁠Good digital ability
