Assistant Supervisor/Playworker

Essential CCPLD Level 3 or equivalent childcare qualification. 

We are looking for someone who:

• Creates a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
• Plan and deliver engaging play-based activities.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Monitor and celebrate children's development milestones, keeping records to share with parents/carers.
• Support the day-to-day running of the playgroup, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care. Is an enthusiastic team player and reliable.
•  Has knowledge of Early Entitlement and planning.
• Has knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales.
• Has knowledge and understanding of the CIW minimum standards.
• Attends regular training courses, staff meetings, committee meetings and supports fundraising events.
• Is willing to step in as Playgroup Supervisor when required. It is important that you can demonstrate that you have the skills set to do successfully.
