Job description

We are seeking to recruit an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic qualified Early Years Practitioner, to work in our established Full Day Care setting. 

The Fun Club at Ysgol Maes y Felin is a CIW registered Full Day Care Setting and offers 24 places for children to enjoy safe, stimulating play opportunities within an equal opportunities framework. 

The successful applicant will work closely with the Senior Supervisor to:

  • Ensure the legal obligations as set out in the relevant regulations are met.
  • Assist with the smooth operation of the provision.
  • Ensure the provision of a safe and stimulating play environment in which children are able to play freely.
  • Maintain records and complete administrative tasks
  • Successful applicant will be qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare
  • Successful applicant will be expected to attend training to update their skills

Salary: £13.06 per hour

Hours of work

12.5 hours each week to start   9.00 – 11.30 Monday to Friday
