Social Services for Children – Early Years and Family Support
Base: Garden City Childcare and various Flintshire Crèche Service locations
Fixed term Contract to 31 December 2022 with potential to extend
Salary Range from £20,903 to £22,183 pro rata
Are you passionate about providing crèche and childcare for young children? Contributing to an existing and new provision with a focus on excellence?
This exciting role will have the responsibility for care for all children as a group or on a 1 to 1 basis within our settings, expanding their development through inclusive play and learning, leading staff within the early years room to ensure high standards are met within CIW regulations, ECERS, ITERS and Healthy Preschool initiative requirements. To model good practice and to lead by example.
We are looking to recruit a self-motivated person with a proven track record demonstrating their ability as a Room Leader and Person in Charge when required, who is able to assist the Flintshire Crèche and Childcare Service Lead in the delivery and development of Garden City Childcare and Flintshire Crèche Services provision. The successful candidate will be educated to at least NVQ/QCF level 3 (or equivalent) in a childcare discipline with demonstrable experience of working within a childcare setting. Additional qualifications relating to play / commitment to working towards play qualification will be required. It will be necessary for the role to comply with the new qualifications framework. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
