Early Years Wales Olympic Challenge 2024

This year the Olympic and Paralympic Summer Games are being held in Paris (26 July - 11 August).

Not long to go until 31 incredibly talented Welsh Olympians set foot in their chosen arena to represent Team GB at the Paris summer games.

Millions of children around the globe will watch and be inspired by the athletes standing proudly behind their country's flag - encouraging them to think of their own hopes and dreams.

The early years sector plays such an important role in creating a love of physical activity; also known as physical literacy. Studies have shown that children who take part in high levels of physical activity from an early age, are more likely to continue.
