Early Years Wales updates its Medication Policy and Procedure for members.

Child blowing her nose

Per these updates, Early Years Wales has updated the Exclusion Periods section of its members policy. This section provides guidance for settings on the length of time a child or member of staff should be kept away from the setting (exclusion period) should they become ill.

Early Years Wales members will find their updated Medication policy and procedure (including treatment of asthma and any ongoing medical conditions) in their online accounts, if purchased.

The Medication Policy and Procedure can be found in the Admissions and Children's Safety Policies pack here.

The Early Years Wales Policies and Procedures Packs are available to Early Years Wales members to purchase. They contain downloadable guides and example forms to guide settings through the processes needed to follow to protect the children in their care, their organisations and their staff.

There are 5 packs available to purchase:

Alternatively, the complete pack is available to purchase here.
