Update on the Childcare Offer for Wales

Chlidcare Offer

It has been announced today that the Childcare Offer for Wales will be rolled out to more counties across Wales, which will mean thousands more working parents will be able to access 30 hours free childcare a week under the Welsh Government's flagship policy. Pilot schemes are currently under way in the whole of Anglesey, Gwynedd, Caerphilly, Flintshire and Blaenau Gwent and parts of Swansea and Rhondda Cynon Taff. From September 2018, it will be rolled out in parts of the following counties:

  • Cardiff
  • Newport
  • Neath Port Talbot
  • Conwy
  • Wrexham

and will also be piloted in full across the whole of:

  • Torfaen
  • Ceredigion
