Lunch and Learn Catch Up

A mug, laptop and paper sit on a desk. Text reads: Lunch and Learn

Missed our Child Safety Lunch and Learn? You can now catch up with the recording of this session, where we had Child Accident Prevention Trust's (CAPT) Senior Consultant, Ian Evans, join us to talk about the charity's work, priorities and resources, and shared some of the vital but often simple steps which can save lives.

For more information and free resources, visit the CAPT website here: https://capt.org.uk/resource-centre/. Fact sheets are also available in Welsh: https://capt.org.uk/resource-type/welsh/

Hayley Lavery, Lead Specialist Public Health Dietitian for Early Years updated us on how to encourage children to eat a wide range of healthy food and tips on following the national guidance and ideas for healthy meals and snacks.

Kate Newman, Health and Wellbeing Development Officer joined us from Social Care Wales to share and answer questions on the Tools and resources available to support team members with their well-being in the workplace.

The session was very much an introduction to begin thinking about this topic. Social Care Wales will be running a session over the next year to facilitate space to connect with each other and explore the themes around this in more detail. To keep up to date, look out for sessions included in the EYCC newsletter
