Welsh Language Support Worker – Maternity Cover

Early Years Wales are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Welsh Language Development Support to help our Welsh work across Wales.

Purpose of the role: To strengthen Welsh language development in the early years by engaging families through accessible, inclusive, and creative bilingual initiatives. The Welsh Language Support Worker will lead on the delivery of bilingual resources, parent-child sessions (both face to face and online), and community campaigns that empower families to use Welsh at home, promote language equity, and contribute to a supportive, language-rich environment for young children. Some Welsh language resource development might be required, working with our Welsh team and marketing team to add innovative or updated resources.

This is a maternity cover position for one year.

Salary: £22,058.40
