Penarlag Wrap Around Care and Holiday club Committee would like to appoint a Senior PIC to help lead sessions and support the Manager in Penarlag Wrap Around Care Provision which includes Before and After school club, Nursery Plus and Holiday Club.
Applicants:
- Must be able to work in all school holidays
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, learning and development or Play work or be willing to work towards this qualification
- Must have a DBS check
- Be a qualified first aider or willing to undertake training
- Be willing to attend training e.g. safeguarding, food hygiene
- Help input ideas towards future activities
- Have experience of working with children aged 3-12 years
- Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure.
- Working within the framework of the club’s policies and procedures.
- Day to day responsibility running nursery plus, holiday club and before and after school club.
- Ability to support the manager with record keeping and admin
- To be registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales as a ‘Person in Charge’

Hours of work:
Permanent 16 hours plus additional hours available. Term time hours – Monday – Friday. Before school club- 7.45am – 9am Nursery plus- 11.15am – 3pm. After school club- 2.45pm – 5.30pm. Half term Holiday club – 7.30am-1pm or 1pm-6pm shifts or full days available
