Job description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing and overseeing a safe and stimulating environment and high quality education and care for children aged between two to five years. They will manage a team of staff and must fulfil legal and statutory requirements with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) and ensure pre-school policies and procedures are implemented within the setting.
Hours of work:
Normal hours of work are 18.75 hours per week (8.30am to 12.15pm) Monday to Friday (term time only), plus 7 hours of administration/preparation per week and 9 half hour meetings. This position is available from the end of January 2013.
Probationary period:
3 months
