Job description: 

Responsibilities include;
● Developing, planning and organising play activities for children aged three to eleven
years of age.
● Using play activities to help children to develop socially and emotionally.
● Setting up play equipment and making sure play areas are safe.
● Supervising children for fair behaviour during play, dealing with any minor injuries.
● Liaising with parents or carers.
● Preparing snacks for the children.

Conditions
● The work is mostly indoors but also includes outdoor play all year round.
● School breakfast clubs run from 7.45am until 9.00am and after-school club runs from
3.00pm until 6.00pm. You would be required to cover both these shifts.

Training
● Training courses will need to be attended as required.
Ideal candidates will have or be working towards a Level 2 or 3 Playwork qualification and
possess the following qualities: proven excellent team member, flexibility, have their own ideas, sensible decision-making abilities.We are happy to accept applications from candidates with no Childcare or Playwork qualificaitons if you have a passion for working with Kinnerton Little Acorns.

The role will report directly to the Kinnerton Little Acorns Club Manager.


The role will be based in our new premises on site at Ysgol Derwen. The goal is to ensure all support activities are carried on efficiently and effectively to allow the other operations to function properly.
