Job description:
Clwb Bwthyn Bach is an onsite childcare facility at Ysgol yr Esgob in Caerwys. It is run from a beautiful new build on the school grounds and works closely with the Bryniau School Federation of Caerwys and Lixwm schools. We are CIW inspected.
We are looking for a motivated Playgroup Leader/Person In Charge to work alongside our playgroup assistant. To take on the day to day duties involved in running a small but busy facility. We accept children from the age of 2.5 years up to end of primary school age.
The facility runs a pre-school afternoon session and then runs the after-school club for Ysgol yr Esgob children. Children are collected by the leader from Ysgol Lixwm at 11.30am (when requested) and Caerwys at the appropriate times.

Our leader must have an excellent rapport with children and parents/carers. You must be passionate about ensuring they are happy and enjoying their time at Clwb Bwthyn Bach. We like to think Clwb Bwthyn Bach is a 'home from home' for our children and the Playgroup Leader must help create this with a positive attitude, plan fun and appropriate activities and have the wellbeing of the children in mind at all times.
Experience running or leading within a setting is essential, with a driving licence ( and ideally a car) as you will be required to collect children safely from Lixwm Primary School (5 miles from Caerwys) .
Level 3 Childcare Qualifications or above are essential. (PLUS Level 3 Playwork if possible but this maybe negotiable depending on experience and willingness to train)

- Holidays – taken during school holidays only.
