Spittal Playgroup is looking to recruit a play assistant to work as part of a team and assist the play leader to provide a safe, stimulating and varied learning environment for pre-school children from age 2 years up until they start morning school.
A childcare qualification would be desirable and knowledge of 1-1 support would be an advantage. Knowledge of the new curriculum for funded non-maintained nursery settings, would also be an advantage.

Hours of work:
The hours of work will be 8.45am to 12.45am on Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday mornings during term time. Currently the vacancy is for two days only and initially for two terms. Position will also include covering staff training and sickness.
