The Learning Tree, an award-winning Nursery in Cardiff City Centre, is expanding and we are looking for Level 2 & 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our Team on Full-Time, Part Time and Flexible Contracts.

The Nursery Practitioner Role In our unique, purpose-built nursery, you will be responsible for and passionate about providing first class childcare whilst demonstrating a positive attitude.

You will relish working with children and in partnership with parents and the rest of the nursery team.

You will become a key worker for a group of children, providing a safe and stimulating environment within which they can thrive, updating parents on their progress regularly.

You will work to the highest of standards, always promoting a positive atmosphere for the children in your care and your colleagues.

Competitive Pay – Starting at £9.50 - £10.50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Your Qualifications and Experience: You must hold a full and relevant Early Years qualification, at least Level 2 or above. Previous experience working and caring for children under 5, ideally within an Early Years setting is desirable. Happy to take instruction from senior staff, with a desire to further your own knowledge within Early Years through taking part in further training and enhancing your qualifications. You will be supported by the nursery in all training and qualifications that you undertake.

Have a clear and valid DBS. Excellent references, with preferably one from an Early Years establishment. Bags of drive and determination with a ‘make it happen’ attitude and a positive, happy approach to your work and colleagues.

Salary listed based on age 23+ . Different rates may apply for younger candidates.

Up to £300 Hiring Bonus based on contracted days.
