This exciting role will have the responsibility for care for all children as a group or on a 1 to 1 basis within our settings, promoting their development through inclusive play and learning, leading staff within the setting to ensure high standards are met within CIW regulations, ECERS, ITERS and Healthy Preschool initiative requirements.

We are looking to recruit a self-motivated person with a proven track record demonstrating their ability as a Room Leader and Person in Charge when required, who is able to assist the Flintshire Crèche and Childcare Service Lead in the delivery and development of Garden City Childcare and Flintshire Crèche Services provision.

The successful candidate will have achieved a minimum CCLD/CCPLD Level 3 or equivalent with demonstrable experience of working within a childcare setting. Additional qualifications relating to play / commitment to working towards play qualification will be required. It will be necessary for the role to comply with the new qualifications framework. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable. As this post will result in you having substantial contact with children the successful applicant will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Services check
