Job description: 

The Green Giraffe Day Nursery is a Montessori style day nursery. Our ethos is "Gentle Loving Care". We believe in "Childhood" by giving the children freedom of choice and movement in a prepared environment, to pursue their own interest and enjoy their achievements.

We are a high quality, Welsh and English, fully Organic Day Nursery situated in the city centre of Cardiff, and we require an experienced nursery professional to join our team.

If you are interested in pursuing this early years opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified Nursery Nurse (NNEB, BTEC National Diploma, CACHE level 3 Diploma, NVQ level 3, HNC, SNVQ 3, Foundation Degree)
  • Recent experience working as a nursery practitioner
  • Two recent references are required; one of which must be from an educational setting

We are looking for nursery professionals with the following skills:

  • Excellent communication skills with children, staff and parents
  • Excellent observational skills
  • Above average organisational skills with the ability to work on your own

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £9.00-£9.50 per hour

Full time Position
Monday - Friday 40 hours a week between the hours of 7.30am-6.00pm.
