This 1-hour session aims to help you think about how to create and/or strengthen a safeguarding culture within your setting by offering tips, ideas and practical resources that you can then adapt to your own setting and staff.

  • How to encourage everyone in your setting to be professionally curious
  • How to keep safeguarding a visible priority on a day to-day basis
  • How to acknowledge and remove barriers to reporting even the smallest concerns
  • How to ensure everyone can implement your setting's policies and procedures effectively
  • How to ensure everyone is able and willing to report any concerns about a colleague or other practitioner
  • How to encourage everyone to use professional challenge.
