Job description

We are seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable practitioners to join our team on a flexible supply basis.

You will provide high quality care and play based learning opportunities for children in our Early Years setting and/or support in our Before and After School Club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn and develop
  • Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote childrens learning in line with the Curriculum for Wales
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate records of childrens progress, care and well-being as required
  • Follow all safeguarding, health & safety and inclusion policies
  • Assist with routines such as snack times, toileting, and transitions

In the Before and After School Club:

  • Plan and deliver fun, engaging activities suitable for school-aged children
  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment at all times

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (Level 3 preferred)
  • Experience working in an Early Years setting and/or with school-aged children
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willing to obtain one
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid training desirable
